By accessing or using Notse ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Platform.

2. Use of the Platform

Notse is a student-focused platform for sharing and discovering educational notes and study materials. You agree to use the Platform only for lawful, educational purposes. You must not:

  • Upload content that infringes on copyright or intellectual property rights.
  • Post harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content.
  • Attempt to exploit, hack, or disrupt the Platform.
  • Create multiple accounts to manipulate the coin system.
  • Use automated tools or bots to interact with the Platform.

3. User Accounts

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account. Notse reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Content & Copyright

Important — Content Ownership

You retain ownership of content you upload. By uploading to Notse, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, display, and distribute your content to other users of the Platform. You represent that you have the rights to upload the content and that it does not violate any third-party rights.

If you believe content on Notse infringes your copyright, please contact us with a detailed DMCA takedown request and we will act promptly.

5. Coin System & Earnings

Notse operates a coin-based reward system. Coins are earned by uploading quality notes and can be redeemed for cash via eSewa. Notse reserves the right to adjust coin values, earning rates, and withdrawal thresholds at any time. Coins have no monetary value outside of the Platform and cannot be transferred between users except through Platform-provided features.

6. AI Features

Notse provides AI-powered tools (AI Chat, Coding Buddy, note summarization) as educational aids. These features consume coins. AI-generated content is provided "as-is" and may contain errors. Do not rely solely on AI output for important academic work or decisions. Notse is not responsible for inaccuracies in AI-generated responses.

7. Marketplace

The Notse Marketplace allows users to buy and sell educational resources. All transactions are between buyers and sellers. Notse facilitates the platform but is not a party to individual transactions. We reserve the right to remove listings that violate our content guidelines.

8. Disclaimers & Limitations of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Notse does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any user-uploaded content. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Notse shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform.

9. Changes to Terms

Notse reserves the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the new Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Nepal. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Nepal.
